Corn Holds onto Losses into the Monday Close -
Corn futures failed to get back above 0 by the close, as contracts were down 2 to 6 cents across most contracts on Monday weakness. The nearby Cotton Bulls Give-in on Monday -Cotton futures were weaker on Monday, with contracts down 47 to 125 points. The outside markets were mixed, with crude oil futures back down Wheat Falls Lower to Begin the Week, as Crop Ratings Improve -The wheat complex fell lower across the three markets on Monday, as futures never recovered from sharp overnight losses. Chicago SRW futures were Hogs Post Mixed Monday Action -Lean hog futures closed with mixed Monday trade, as most nearbys were within 15 cents of unchanged. USDA’s national average base hog negotiated Soybeans Close Monday with Mixed Action -The soybean market posted 2 to 4 cent gains in the nearby contracts on Monday, with new crop down ¼ cent on the day. CmdtyView’s national front Cattle Post Monday Strength -Live cattle futures closed the Monday session with contracts up $1 to 1.40.
